57-59

Firesweep – was introduced in ’57, and it was the el-cheapo standard model. Basically a Dodge car (including 325 2bbl Poly) (in 57-58) with DeSoto fins and trim.

Firedome – was the entry-level DeSoto and had nice features. Better than a Dodge, lower level than a Chrysler. Always Hemi powered, hence the name and with 2bbl carb.

Fireflite – was a high-end car with good performance and luxury options. Always Hemi powered like the Firedome, but with 4bbl carb.

Adventurer – was always the hot rod, with bigger camshaft, compression ratio, and for ’57 a few more cubic inches. Finished out in some combination of white or black with gold.
